MINERAL Organic Crafts, a registered Portuguese brand specialising in the artisanal production of ecological mineral-based air fresheners, was invited to participate in the world's largest home textile fair, resulting in an unforgettable sensory experience. The company responsible for bringing the scented flowers fromΒ @mineral_organic.craftsΒ toΒ @heimtextilΒ wasΒ @coton_couleur, a brand founded in 2012 whose signature is the excellence of its products, many of which are custom-made for customers worldwide.
The opportunity arose following a news article that the brand's designer, Graça Mendes, read about MINERAL Organic Crafts being one of the nominees for the @itechstyle_greencircle awards, an initiative promoted by @citeve and presented at @modtissimo 2024. After contacting the brand's founder, ClÑudia Gomes, they both began a process of full collaboration to harmoniously combine the collections that would be presented, taking into account aesthetics, concept, colour palette, and textures. This work once again proved the ability of Portuguese companies to articulate their strengths in order to take Portuguese home textiles beyond borders, while also serving as an example of the power of unity in the business world.
For ClÑudia Gomes, professional artisan and creative director of MINERAL, "this experience is extremely symbolic, as it allowed me to uniquely and disruptively combine my creations with the best in the national textile industry. It is an honour and immense pride to be side by side with a brand that has proven consistency, quality, but above all, environmental ethics and a great capacity for hospitality. I felt at home when I was at Coton Couleur, in the presence of its CEO Carlos Carvalho @cmmc1970, unsurpassed in the art of hospitality, and the group's designer Graça Mendes, a creative mind with refined taste and keen vision. These experiences allow us to evolve and learn with other entrepreneurs, which is very gratifying".
