How did MINERAL Organic Crafts come about?
The project emerged in 2020, born from the forced pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic, thanks to Cláudia Gomes. She holds a master's degree in Communication Sciences, with many years dedicated to communication consulting and event organisation, and was recently recognised by CEARTE as a professional artisan after obtaining her Artisan Card and Artisan Production Unit Card. She was joined by her husband, Paulo Santos, who has a master's degree in Chemistry and many years of experience in the industrial sector. Initially, the goal was to create souvenirs for small celebrations, but they quickly realised they could extend the product range to include diffusers for home/car and, more recently, equally scented floral arrangements and perfumable canvases.
In addition to air fresheners, MINERAL Organic Crafts® innovated by bringing its pieces into the world of events, creating projects of olfactory memory applied to celebrations, being a pioneer in the market (similar to its innovation with new models and functionalities in its diffusers). In this segment, the idea is to create immersive olfactory experiences, which begin when the guest receives the (scented) invitation, continue through the decoration of the party space itself (adequately scented), and extend into the post-event, where the aroma of that day will linger for a long time, allowing guests to travel back to that day whenever they smell it.
Through its different "eco-friendly" air freshener models, MINERAL Organic Crafts® spreads its white floral essence (its olfactory signature), generally likened to the characteristic scent of a bath and clean laundry, with a very consensual olfactory profile that is widely appreciated (see reviews on the brand's official Google and Facebook pages).
The pieces from MINERAL Organic Crafts® make functional gifts with an unmistakable "handcrafted" aesthetic that can last for several years, being "eternally refillable" with the same scent. They passively scent all types of spaces, making them less invasive and healthier, and decorate them with their minimalist, sophisticated, and delicate style.
The principle of sustainability is one of the brand's hallmarks, not only present in the pieces themselves but also across the board in its biodegradable packaging and the optimisation of resources in the production process, even reflected in the selective choice of suppliers based on principles such as labor ethics and regulations.
"Dive into the Essence" is the slogan chosen by the brand, as it believes it will transport you through the olfactory notes of the selected essence used to scent the air fresheners (created by the world's greatest perfumers, who sign some of the most renowned perfumes we know). Above all, it promotes a "dive" of pure contemplation into the art and creativity associated with handmade work with soul.
The vibration and energy of MINERAL Organic Crafts®'s creations also have a strong impact on how the client perceives the final product. In this regard, the brand believes this is due to the love it puts into every detail of the process, as well as how it interacts with each client. In addition to these "magical" ingredients based on a spirit of dedication, MINERAL Organic Crafts® believes that the molecular structure of the pieces also plays in its favor...
But how?
– The pieces are mainly composed of the mineral Gypsite (in a superior state of refinement, allowing for an extremely fine particle), together with other minerals that provide greater resistance and a pure white tone. Gypsite is the same mineral that makes up the famous Selenite, which, in fact, is just crystallized Gypsite itself. If we consider the characteristics that make Selenite such a prized crystal – such as its peaceful energy and its ability for energetic cleansing – we can assume that our pieces also have this holistic component and the ability to transmit good vibrations, as the molecular structure of these minerals is the same.
